Terms of Service & Refund Policy

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any services provided by GoHostBiz ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use our services.

2. Service Description

GoHostBiz provides web hosting, domain registration, and related services. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

3. Prohibited Content and Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Hosting or distributing illegal content, including pirated software, hacking tools, or copyrighted material without authorization
  • Spamming, phishing, or any form of unsolicited bulk communications
  • Hosting phishing pages or fraudulent websites
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Engaging in activities that violate local, state, national, or international laws
  • Using Freenom domains for any purpose (these domains are strictly prohibited)

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breaches.

Accounts created with fake information will be suspended without notice and are not eligible for refunds.

5. Resource Usage

While we offer "unlimited" resources on some plans, this is subject to fair usage policies. Accounts that consume excessive resources may be required to upgrade to a higher-tier plan or may have their resource usage limited to ensure server stability for all customers.

6. Backup Policy

While we perform regular backups, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining your own backups of all content. Our backup systems are provided as a courtesy and we cannot guarantee the availability of specific backups.

Backup retention periods:

  • Shared/WordPress/Cloud Hosting: 7 days
  • Reseller Hosting: 1 month after expiration

Accounts exceeding 3GB storage should maintain their own backups as our system may not reliably backup large accounts.

7. Payment and Billing

All services are billed in advance on a recurring basis. It is your responsibility to ensure payment information is current and to cancel services you no longer wish to use.

Late payments may result in service suspension. Reactivation after suspension requires full payment of outstanding balances plus any applicable late fees.

8. Refund Policy

8.1 General Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for shared hosting and VPS plans. If you are dissatisfied with our services for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase.

8.2 Eligibility for Refund

To be eligible for a refund:

  • Request must be made within 7 days of service activation
  • Account must be in good standing with no policy violations
  • Refund must be requested through our official support channels

8.3 Non-Refundable Circumstances

The following situations are explicitly not eligible for refunds:

  • "I didn't like the hosting service" or "I found better hosting elsewhere" - Our 7-day trial period is provided for you to evaluate our services
  • "I purchased by mistake" - Customers are responsible for verifying their purchases before completing transactions
  • Accounts that have violated our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
  • Accounts created with false or misleading information
  • Services that have been suspended or terminated due to policy violations

8.4 Non-Refundable Services

The following services are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

8.5 Hosting Cancellation & Refund Eligibility

Important Cancellation Rules:

  • Self-cancellation = No Refund - If you cancel your hosting service directly through your account panel without prior communication with our support team, you automatically forfeit any refund eligibility.
  • Mandatory Support Ticket Requirement - To be considered for a refund, you must:
    1. Submit a support ticket BEFORE cancelling your service
    2. Provide detailed explanation of your issues
    3. Allow us 72 hours to resolve your concerns
  • Valid Refund Reasons (Requires Proof):
    • Persistent technical issues we cannot resolve (must provide error logs/screenshots)
    • Service downtime exceeding our SLA guarantees
    • Fundamental feature unavailability as advertised
  • Non-Qualifying Reasons (No Refund):
    • "I don't like the service" or "I found better hosting"
    • Accidental purchases or change of mind
    • Failure to use the service after purchase
    • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Refund Processing:
    • Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method
    • For Indian customers: UPI refunds processed within 5-7 working days
    • All refunds subject to payment gateway processing fees deduction

Note: Refund approval is at the sole discretion of GoHostBiz after thorough investigation of your claim. Submission of false information will result in permanent account termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GoHostBiz be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the services
  • Any content obtained from the services
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through our website or via email. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, India.
