Terms of Service

By using GoHostBiz services you agree to all terms below

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or purchasing any service from GoHostBiz you agree to be fully bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Service Description

GoHostBiz provides web hosting, VPS hosting, cloud hosting, game hosting, student hosting, domain registration, website development and related digital services. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any service at any time. We are not liable for any loss due to service modifications.

3. Prohibited Content & Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on ALL plans

  • Hosting or distributing pirated software, cracked scripts or copyrighted material without authorization
  • Spamming, phishing, or any form of unsolicited bulk email/SMS communications
  • Hosting phishing pages, fake banking pages, fake eCommerce clones, or fraudulent websites
  • Distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, trojans or any harmful code
  • Using the server as a proxy server, VPN, or anonymity tool without our permission
  • Engaging in DDoS attacks, hacking attempts, or network abuse against any target
  • Hosting pornography or sexually explicit content of any kind
  • Streaming video/audio content — buy a VPS plan for streaming purposes
  • Storing video files, ZIP archives, backups, movie files or bulk download content
  • Using Freenom (.tk, .ml, .ga, .cf, .gq) domains on any hosting plan — immediate suspension, no refund
  • Any activity violating Indian law, IT Act 2000, or international law

Penalty

Violation results in immediate suspension or permanent termination without notice and without refund. Serious violations will be reported to law enforcement authorities. You are solely liable for all legal consequences.

4. User Behaviour & Support Conduct

GoHostBiz maintains a professional, experienced support team. You must maintain respectful conduct at all times when interacting with our team.

Zero Tolerance — Abusive Behaviour

  • Abusing, threatening, or harassing our support staff in any way (WhatsApp, ticket, email, call) is strictly prohibited
  • Using offensive language, making false claims, or attempting to manipulate support staff will result in immediate account suspension
  • Persistent abusive behaviour will result in permanent account termination, no refund, and possible legal action
  • Our support team is trained to solve genuine hosting issues — they are not responsible for your website code, design, or third-party tools
5. Real Identity & Account Information

You must provide accurate, real and complete information during checkout and in your profile:

  • Your real full name
  • Valid email address (verified)
  • Valid Indian phone number
  • Complete billing address

Fake Information Policy

Accounts created with false, fake or misleading information will be suspended without notice and are NOT eligible for any refund. This policy protects our platform from fraud and abuse. GoHostBiz is not responsible for any consequences arising from false registrations. You are fully liable.

6. Betting, Gambling & Legally Sensitive Websites

If you host a betting, gambling, colour prediction, fantasy sports or any legally sensitive website on our platform:

  • If a legal complaint, abuse report or regulatory notice is received, GoHostBiz will inform you immediately
  • You will be given 24 hours to resolve the issue — provide documentation or take corrective action
  • If unresolved within 24 hours, your hosting account will be suspended or terminated
  • In extreme cases (court order, police complaint, CERT-In notice) — account terminated WITHOUT any prior notice

Legal Liability

GoHostBiz is a hosting provider only. We are not responsible for the content hosted by customers. You are solely and fully responsible for all legal consequences arising from your website content, including fines, penalties, and criminal liability under Indian law.

7. Source Code / Freebie Policy

Source Code is a FREE Bonus — Not a Paid Service

On some hosting plans (especially Game Hosting plans), GoHostBiz provides free source code as a bonus/freebie. This is offered at no additional charge.

By accepting the source code, you agree to ALL of the following:

  • No guarantee of functionality: GoHostBiz does not guarantee that source code will work on your specific server, domain, or configuration. You paid for the hosting service, not the source code.
  • No technical support for source code: Our support team does not provide setup assistance, debugging, or customisation for source code. If you need setup help, contact us to hire our developer at an additional charge.
  • No refund on source code issues: If the source code does not work, does not suit your needs, or you cannot set it up — this is NOT grounds for a refund. You purchased hosting services, not software development.
  • Developer hire option: If you want professional setup of the source code, you may hire GoHostBiz developers at a separate, agreed-upon charge. Contact us for details.

Refund Rejection — Source Code

Any refund request raised with the reason "source code is not working", "I cannot set up the code", "code has errors", or any similar source-code-related reason will be REJECTED IMMEDIATELY. The source code is a free bonus — your hosting plan is charged for server resources, not for software.

8. Backup Policy

GoHostBiz provides backups as a convenience service, not a guaranteed feature:

Important

  • Accounts storing more than 3 GB may not be backed up reliably by our system. You must maintain your own backups for accounts above 3 GB.
  • Reseller accounts not renewed within 1 month of expiry will be permanently terminated without backup guarantee
  • No backup will be provided for suspended or terminated accounts that violated these terms
9. Downgrading & Plan Changes

Downgrading from a yearly hosting plan to a monthly plan at time of expiry is not possible. If your yearly plan expires and you wish to continue, minimum renewal is 3 months.

10. Payment & Reactivation

Services suspended due to non-payment will only be reactivated upon full payment of all outstanding dues. We do not reactivate services based on payment promises. Late reactivation may incur additional late fees.

Core Principle

GoHostBiz offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on eligible hosting plans — only if you face a genuine technical issue with our hosting infrastructure that our team is unable to resolve. Refunds are NOT given for personal preference, lack of technical knowledge, or non-hosting reasons.

What Qualifies for a Full Refund

Eligible refund reasons (with proof required)

  • Persistent server downtime exceeding our 99.9% uptime SLA (provide screenshots with timestamps)
  • Hosting service completely unavailable and unresolvable by our technical team after 72 hours
  • A fundamental advertised feature is missing and cannot be provided
  • Game Hosting: source code was NOT delivered/provided at all (not "code not working" — only if code was never sent)
  • Duplicate/double payment for same service (refund of extra amount only)
What Does NOT Qualify for a Refund

These refund requests will be REJECTED

  • "I don't like the hosting service" — The 7-day trial period exists for evaluation. Personal preference is not a refund reason.
  • "I found better hosting elsewhere" — Not a valid reason.
  • "I purchased by mistake / accidentally" — You are responsible for verifying purchases before payment.
  • "I don't know how to use cPanel / hosting" — Lack of technical knowledge is not GoHostBiz's responsibility. We offer 24/7 support to guide you.
  • "My website source code is not working" — Source code is a free bonus. We do not refund for source code issues.
  • "WordPress / script is not loading" — This is a configuration issue, not a hosting infrastructure failure. Contact support first.
  • "I don't need hosting anymore" — Change of mind is not eligible.
  • After account has been suspended for policy violations — Suspended accounts are not refundable.
  • Account created with fake/false information — Not eligible under any circumstances.
  • After self-cancellation without contacting support first — If you cancel via panel without raising a ticket, refund eligibility is forfeited.
  • After 7 days from service activation — No refund after the 7-day window under any circumstances.
50% Partial Refund — Special Cases

When 50% Partial Refund May Apply

In borderline cases where the reason is not a clear hosting failure but is not entirely the customer's fault, GoHostBiz may at its sole discretion offer a 50% partial refund on the service price only.

  • GST/taxes are never refunded even in partial refund cases
  • Payment gateway charges are deducted from the refund amount
  • Partial refund is at GoHostBiz's discretion — it cannot be demanded as a right
  • This applies only to Web Hosting and Cloud Hosting plans within the 7-day window
How to Request a Refund (Mandatory Process)
  1. Submit a support ticket FIRST — before cancelling your service. Go to Client Area → Support → Submit Ticket
  2. Describe your issue clearly — include error messages, screenshots, and a detailed explanation
  3. Allow 72 hours for our team to investigate and attempt to resolve the issue
  4. If unresolved after 72 hours — you may formally request a refund through the same ticket
  5. Refund decision is made by our team after thorough review. Approved refunds processed within 5–7 working days to original payment method

Self-Cancellation = No Refund

If you cancel your service directly through the client panel without first submitting a support ticket and giving us a chance to resolve your issue, you automatically forfeit all refund eligibility. Always contact support before cancelling.

Game Hosting — Special Refund Rules

Game Hosting plans come with free premium source code (game scripts). The following rules apply:

  • Refund allowed: If GoHostBiz failed to deliver/send the promised source code to you
  • No refund: Source code received but doesn't work on your setup
  • No refund: You don't know how to set it up
  • No refund: Code has bugs or errors that you discovered after receiving it
  • No refund: Hosting server is working but game script doesn't function

Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data

1. Information We Collect
  • Personal Information: Full name, email, phone number, billing address, payment details — collected at registration and checkout
  • Technical Information: IP address, browser type, device details, usage logs — collected automatically
  • Service Usage Data: How you interact with our hosting control panel, tickets, and services
2. How We Use Your Information
  • To provision and maintain your hosting services
  • To process payments and send invoices
  • To communicate about your account, renewals and support
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
  • To comply with Indian legal obligations (IT Act 2000, GST laws)
  • To improve our services and website performance
3. Data Security
  • SSL encryption for all data in transit
  • Secure servers with restricted access controls
  • Regular security audits and monitoring

While we implement best practices, no Internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you of any significant breach.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We may share data only with:

  • Payment processors (Razorpay, PayU etc.) for transaction processing
  • Government authorities when legally required under Indian law
  • Law enforcement when investigating abuse, fraud or illegal activity
5. Your Rights
  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold
  • Correction: Update or correct your information via client area or by contacting us
  • Deletion: Request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
6. Cookies

We use cookies to authenticate users, remember preferences, and analyse website traffic. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect service functionality.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us immediately.

What "Unlimited" Means

Unlimited Disk Space / Bandwidth means GoHostBiz does not set a hard numeric limit on these resources for the normal operation of a personal or small business website. It does NOT mean infinite capacity for any purpose.

What "Unlimited" Does NOT Mean

Our unlimited hosting is NOT designed for large enterprises, mass-download sites, file storage services, media streaming or any high-volume application. Abusing unlimited resources degrades performance for all customers and will result in account suspension.

  • Email accounts (max 5 GB per email account)

  • Video files, movies, or any media streaming content — use a VPS plan for streaming
  • ZIP archives, backups, bulk software downloads
  • File lockers, file sharing platforms, or cloud storage services
  • Game ISOs, software installers, cracked programs
  • Bulk email attachments or spam content
  • Audio/music files for download sites

If your website exceeds these limits more than 5 times in one day, you will be required to upgrade your plan. Failure to upgrade will result in account suspension followed by cancellation with a prorated refund (deducting days used).

Bandwidth Usage

GoHostBiz does not set monthly bandwidth limits. However, the following bandwidth uses are prohibited and will result in suspension:

  • Using the server as a browser proxy or anonymiser
  • Downloading copyrighted files or running torrent/P2P services
  • Running bulk email/spam campaigns
  • Any use that consumes bandwidth in excess of normal website operation
Violation & Warning Process
  1. 1st Warning: Email/ticket notice with 48 hours to resolve
  2. 2nd Warning: Additional 24 hours before suspension
  3. Suspension: Account suspended; backup available on request for 7 days
  4. Termination: After 3rd violation or unresolved suspension — permanent termination, no backup guaranteed
